Close examination of an object can lead to abstract impressions instead of revealing more details; rahter an oximoran. Walking through Lincoln Park the week before it opened officially was somewhat of an obstacle course along the Harbor’s edge. Canadian Geese droppings were abundant evidence of months long, unpeopled walkways. One area had a handful of Goose feathers. Here one shows it’s shiny sleek coating as it lies on the sidewalk next to the park grass. As details show up, the overall effect is one of abstractness.
