Patience found impatient perfection…

Rarely do I find plantings of Impatients (Impatiens hawkeri) without any flaws or damaged petals. This morning, on a walk I passed by a garden full of Impatient perfection. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
One bloom was readying itself to open which will only add more beauty to this patch of garden. This variety of Impatiens originated in Papua New Guinea, hence it also goes by the name of New Guinea impatiens. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
The white blooms above were accompanied by these equally perfect, brilliantly colored deep pink flowers. While Impatiens hawkeri is the species I consider to be Impatience, it turns out that there are quite a variety of Impatiens types. Learn more about “touch me not”, “busy lizzy” if your patient.
