Bromilads can be spotted often on the Palms and Cypresses in the Everglades and nearby gardens. This Bromiliad, a kind of air plant, stood out for it’s deep purple leaves. As I moved around the tree I noticed this tiny flower blooming underneath the leaves. The flower was mostly out of view. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
