May 3, 2023May 3, 2023 Pamela Breitberg Wild and wonderful sightings… Doing a fair job of camouflage this Eastern Box Turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina ) is at home on the lands of the North Carolina Arbortum. This reptile is the only live animal I share today from this special preserve. This winged statue seemed posed to take flight over the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains.
