Observing my blessings…

Some see a pile of leaves to either play with or dispose. I observe the diversity of the colors, types, sizes. It reminds me of the vastness and variety of my blessings. I am most blessed and grateful for each blessing, no matter how small or large. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg

Staring long enough at the leaves at my feet, while waiting for a bus, I couldn’t help but see that the pebbles incorporated in the cement seemed like small pieces of leaves. Rocks aren’t leaves; but they added to the diversity of the sizes and patterns. Yes, I can find imagery in about anything. And for that I’m grateful. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
Here Maples rule the pile of fallen leaves, causing me to ponder my larger blessings. Obviously family and friends come to mind. And at 71.5 years of age I am grateful for generally good health. But I realize that what makes the richest are the little blessings; such as my ability to type this blog and share it. I am grateful for the slippers on my feet to keep them warm. I am grateful for the raindrops glistening on my window. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
There are no limits on the blessings that have fallen into my life. What are some of your most memorable as well as what are some of your unnoticed blessings? Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow U.S. friends and family. And sincere blessings to all Native Americans who have been unjustly pushed to the side. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
