The usual thought of fruit from a Palm (Aracaceae) Tree is coconuts. However, Coconut Palms are only one of over 181 genera or 2600 species of Palm Tree. This one produces bright red clumps of fruit. It perhaps is a variety of Date Palms, although I’m too novice of a naturalist to know for sure. Still, it’s amazing for this northener.
