Looking down from our balcony we noticed that gulls, in group, were actively engaged in the hunt for something for lunch. Never seen such a crowd of gulls so actively fishing before. A female Herring Gull, with it’s greyed/browned feathers speaks out loudly in the bottom of this image. We have previously seen them at rest in small groups along the Shore. But this was the first time seeing them fishing as a collective. The clump to the left of the female, seemed to be a washed up Puffer Fish, but none of the gulls seemed interested.
