The Great White Egret that I usually photograph and include in this blog is found in the South Eastern coast of Florida. The bird in this image was observed in the county’s Midwest earlier this spring. It was residing at Mallard Lake, near the famed Creve Coeur Lake just outside of St. Louis, far from the ocean or Everglades. Different environment but equally as habitable for the Great White Egret.
