Tis the season of activities and celebrations.Thanksgiving on Thursday is easy to overlook between Halloween and New Year’s. It could be called a lesser holiday. After all, it is not a gift giving time nor is it a time to show off one’s fashion sense. It’s merely a day to be with family and closest friends and enjoy comfort food and possibly a good football game or movie; together. I have always considered this day, so named as a day to give thanks, as the best holiday of the year in America. I’m ignoring the terrible non-true histories in our childhood textbooks about the first Thanksgiving in the “new world” of America. Instead on this upcoming day I will reflect on my blessings and the many miracles in my life, including my family and friends. I am thankful that I am able to share a few of life’s wonders through this blog. Bless each of you this holiday season. May you embrace the blessings in your life and give THANKS.
