Survival determination… Pamela Breitberg 2 years ago Nature, as this tree exemplifies, is genius at survival. What seems like a dead tree shows clusters of new growth. It might have been left so that wildlife could reside within it’s old core. But its new growth shows that its own life has not ended just yet. When a tree senses it will not survive all it’s energies go toward producing seeds so that future plants can emerge. The new shoots appearing on this tree remnant provide essential photosynthesis needed to feed and nourish it back to some form of health. Hope is eternal until it is not; but stronger than most imagine.
