Relax…

I feel more relaxed when I stroll through Lincoln Park and observe so many persons quietly resting, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful spaces along the Lake Michigan shore. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
Mixing exercise, bike riding, and sunbathing in Lincoln Park is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Chicago city life. It is a well used, well loved park. With it’s 18 mile long stretch there’s plenty of room everyone to find their own isolated space when wanted. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
Dogwalkers are routinely sighted on Chicago streets. This one must have a caring heart as he took them into the park for an afternoon of play and exploration. I’d never seen so many walked by one person; but he was very much in control of them all. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
My heart warmed as I watched this mother do a time-honored habit of stopping to smell and pick the flowers. The field of Dandelions was a perfect stopping point for this young girl and her mother. Beyond them is someone resting in a hammock and beyond that is part of Belmont Harbor. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
When I first began walking through Lincoln Park, after I retired, I was surprised that people were bold enough to bring their own hammocks and stretch them out between two trees or large shrubs. Now I just smile and appreciate their ability to make time for fresh air and a rest. Happy beginning of summertime! Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
