I haven’t shown readers just how close the Caldwell Lily Pool is to downtown Chicago. It’s only a few miles away from the hustle and bustle of the famed “Magnificent Mile” of Michigan Avenue. Lincoln Park Zoo’s tower looks to emulate the towering highrise of the former John Hancock Center. It’s renamed “875 N. Michigan Avenue”, but will always be the Hancock for Chicago natives.
