Surrounding some other perennial natives, is this Wood’s Rose (Rosa woodsii) shrub. Now in the Rose Hip stage these hips are edible and found in teas and medicine. Again, I warn against eating fruits from parkland or private gardens because of unknown use of pesticides and fertilizers. Enjoy their natural beauty.
