Today I share some of Charleston South Carolina’s warm personality. The historic district is rich with both positive and negative history; our tour guide was honest about their controversial history with slavery. I was grateful for this honesty as I know that history must include as much truth and depth as possible so that we may grow in maturity and awareness.
