Evergreen, succulent and quite invasive in Florida. Hawaiian Half-flower (Scaevola taccada) is quite striking and one can understand why it was brought to this region as a coastal dune plant. However it does not play well with other plants and is considered a “noxious” weed by the Florida Department of Agriculture.
