This large tree in south Florida appears dead but is just dormant this time of year; a deciduous variety that loses its leaves for a season. In a few months it’s bloom prolifically. While it sleeps the Air Plants remain active and lush. Air Plants, unlike Strangler Figs are symbiotic; they do not harm their host plant.
