On the beach, purple flags mean “marine warning”. This morning several months ago, the Portuguese Men of War were in the waters and washed onshore. Like Jelly fish their liquids sting and burn. This one seemed to dance in the shallow waters. Unable to steer on its own, it rode onto shore and then back out into the sea multiple times as the waters ebbed and floed.
