Orchids highlight the simplicity of life that’s possible. They hug trees or lie casually in pots. All they need is rain water and the air: both rich with some accompanying mineral composits. I have been told that subtropical homeowners who decorate their patios with Orchids provide no maintanence for the plants. And the plants’ only danger are a passing Iguana that might accidentally brush against it and knock it off its host tree or pot. Though they are “easy” plants to own, their beauty and delicate appearance has given the reputation of being most special and treasured. If pink isn’t your preferred color, not tow worry. Orchids come in a large variety of colors and patterened petals. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
