When I visit a garden, I am always reminded by the plants that I need to return again at different times of the years. That’s the only way for me to see the changes that occur in a garden over a season. This image show Crape-myrtle (Lagerstoemia fauriei) at the end of it’s season. The tree’s seed pods have almost all opened and dropped the seeds inside. Better known for their showy white flowers, I was captured by the JapaneseCrape–myrtle’s seed pods.
