This little 8″x10″ acrylic was done on a black toned canvas. The dark canvas seemed appropriate for the deep, shadowy scene. The waters through the trees were sunlit. I added some violet to the sky to differentiate it from the water. Much detail is missing compared to my photograph of the scene; but the abstractness gives it an intriguing feel; in my opinion. Simple, but lots to look at. A quick three hour study. Someday I may repaint the scene in larger scale and with details; or not! Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
