The big city never sleeps. So it should have been no surprise to me that one night a week ago. city workers chose then, about 8pm, to clean out an overclogged sewer. It had been slow to drain rainwater for about a week; so not an “emergency”. Good to see the street doesn’t collect excess waters any longer. Then one morning it was on the left side of the window; but still never moved. I suppose it’s not a content cat; but a statue of one.
