On the outside of the community garden fence was Common Mallow (Malva neglecta). What seems inappropriate so close to a well-groomed edible garden; perhaps it is indeed relevant here. Common Mallow is edible. It’s leaves, stems, and seeds are often consumed. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
