Common prettiness…

Notice the pointed tips to the leaves. This identifies this plant, Field Bindweed (Conolvulus arvensis) from Morning Glory whose leaves are heart shaped. They are related. This vine was densely growing on a fence protecting walkers in the park from errant golf balls coming from the adjoining golf course. It can be invasive when free to roam in the U.S. Like Morning Glories, each Bindweed flower lasts one day. The plants hosts many flower buds waiting their turn to bloom; so the bloom season is all summer. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg

Looking through the leaves

New flowers wait for their day
