Signaling autumn…

The Japanese Anemone (Eriocapitella hupehensis) in bloom is bittesweet for me. Their beautiful flowers bloom at the end of summer, indicating for me that autumn is nearby. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
Like most perennials, the Japanese Anemone flowers open up in succession,  so flowers grace the garden for about a month. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
Flowers grow in tall stems, rising above other garden plantings. The flowers appear more delicate than the large leaves. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
