Black-eyed Susans are a common autumn blooming perrenial. Always beautiful, always popular. But there are other unsung yellow blooming autumn flowers. A Bumble Bee collects nectar and pollen on this plant. Both Bumble Bees and Cloudless Giant Sulphur butterflies rely on this plant. Its appearance is un assuming although the pods are what caught my attention. But it is an important part of a healthy ecosystem. Read more here.
