Almost still waters…

The setting is the Slough, an inlet of water from the Intracoastal waters in Ft. Lauderdale. A Slough is mostly still waters however the Bonnet House recently dredged, refilled and added aeration to the waters for better wildlife habitat. I always love seeing some fallen Coconuts when they begin to sprout new Palm Trees. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg

Subtropical growth shows resilience. Here a fallen tree grows new limbs. Future trees of their own? Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
