This invasive, unwanted creature is a regular sighting in South Florida. Using my sketchbook I did this acrylic (6″x12″) painting of an Iguana. It began with a pastel background but soon I chose to add the native greenery to show how easily it camouflages in its envirnonment. For me, they are an amazing creative design of nature.
