Leaves of three; not in the leaves but in the flower petals. Spiderwort (Tradescantia) is a native perennial. It spreads from underground runners so has potential to become invasive. Mixed personality: can cause rashes but also edible.Like most perennials the Spiderwort buds open throughout a blooming season; some earlier than others, making the season longer.
