As snow is a possible, this mid-October morning, I find it comforting to look at a couple images of this summer’s lushly colorful Begonias. These blooms were in a window box outside a favorite restaurant in Chicago. Begonias are perennial and native in subtropical regions of the U.S.; a fact that still amazes this Midwesterner’s mind.
