Seasons are changing, and evidence is withthe emergence of violet hued Drummond’s Aster (S. drummondii). In the background the Yellow Coneflower (Echinacea paradoxa) still claims attention. Soon the Asters will reign in the gardens while summer perrenials rest. The Aster here is possibly one of the multiple natives to Illinois; each beautiful. Read about them here.
