White is rarely pure white in the natural world. Knowing that, I tried keeping the warm whites (yellow white) and cool whites (blue/violet white) as my main colors for this cluster of flowers. I used separate brushes for each shade used in this painting so I didn’t muddy the shades. Varying the tones helped create depth. 11″x14″ acrylic. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
