Little things…

Sometimes I choose to focus on pretty little flowers that most people consider weeds. Weeds are only “weeds” when they’re in places that are they’re unwanted; so in public parks, I consider these weeds most welcome. Here, Mexican Clover (Richaardia brasiliensis) caught my eye. Coincidentally, one of its nicknames is White-Eye. Keep an open mind and eye for the beauty around you.  Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
A member of the Aster family these cuties are called Shepherd’s Needles (Bidens alba) or Beggarticks or Butterfly Needles or Spanish Needles. Considered a weed it’s also similar in nutrition to kale: high in fiber and protein. A weed to one is dinner to another. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
