Blooms among bustling citylife…

Large urns of Impatient  and Lantana frame the entrance to the Art Institute of Chciago. In the distance are the famed Lions that greet museum visitors. The flowers seem to foreshadow the quiet respite of an Art Museum visit inside the bustling downtown Chciago. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
In this condensed telephoto image of the Art Institute’s Lions, the crowds show their density. Careful examination shows each lion in a separate pose. Read about Edward Kenney’s lions here. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
Also outside the Museum’s entrance is the ever-faithful drum band. It is quite  a fun and talented group; and adds to the city energy. Also, note, in the background, the street sign denoting the beginning of Route 66. It’s so wonderful to see Chicago back in full swing after Covid days of yore. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
Hungry? In addition to wonderful Museum food and many downtown restaurants, these food trucks offer pedestrians even more culinary choices. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
Another potted arrangement by the Art Institute of Chicago was these Dense-flowered Loosestrife (Lysimachia congestiflora). Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
