I played around with Autumn colors for this watercolor landscape. It seemed the right subject for this late September week. Watercolor often has a mind of its own, so it was fun to see how the result of how the colors mixed. These two 4″x6″ watercolors were done without any pencil or ink beginnings. Copyright 2025 Pamela BreitbergThis is my photograph that was the inspiration for these Autumn watercolors. Looking at the photograph, one of my first decisions was which and how many trees and fallen leaves would be included. Watercolor offers a chance for less detail and merely suggested elements.
