The delicate Shooting Star native blooms form a circular small group making focusing an interesting exercise when using my long lens. This is a good example of how shallow the depth of field is with a long lens choice (AF-S micro Nikkor 105mm). Using my Nikon lens (see above) the Dandelion and surrounding grasses are in focus while the trees and tennis court walls are blurred helping viewers understand where my focus was intended in this image.
