Here sunbaths one of Lincoln Park Zoo’s three Lions who will soon be relocated to a new home, the zoo in Salina, Kansas. The Lincoln Park Zoo will reimagine the historic habitat as a larger, more natural environment to host a new, larger pride of lions when complete. This space until a few years ago was home to both lions and tigers; the new space will dedicated entirely to Lions. CLICK on the image above for more information. Lincoln Park Zoo is a treasured small zoo just north of downtown Chicago. It is a favorite destination for me and other city dwellers.
