Density exemplified…

For lunch yesterday, I sought a respite from the exhilaration of a Saturday in the city. Arriving at a local hotel’s restaurant I asked to sit indoors instead of dining alfresco. After soaking up the energy from the neighborhood farmer’s market followed by a stroll through our first Art Fair of the season I craved a “time out”. Seated at a window I couldn’t resist capturing my view to share here, with those who might not have experienced the energy of the big city, Chicago.

How many layers of activity do you see in this image? This is NOT a manipulated image; it was my view out the restaurant window. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
This only shows layers of activity. I found it interesting that there is virtually no person shown here inspite of knowing that people were actively causing the scene. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
Again, I ask, how many layers happening here? The location is immediately across from Lincoln Park’s Green City Farmer’s Market which also adjoins the Lincoln Park Zoo. Behind me was the stie for the annual Old Town Art Festival. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
