Where am I really…

Ah, visiting the Christkrindle Market is a tradition not only in German villages but thanks to Chicago’s welcoming of German vendors it is also a beloved tradition in Chicago. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
So many beautiful things to tempt me and so much incredible talent to be in awe of. My strategy is to walk around it several times before I begin to seriously shop; my senses need time to adjust. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
This is a small (really) Christkrindle Market located in Wrigley Field’s outdoor area. It is part of their Winter Wonderland that includes a full sized iceskating rink. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
Not all is jolly; I’ll stick to the cute stuffed bears. Each vendor’s booth includes the city and country of origin under the shop’s title. Vendors are primarily from Germany but also Austria, Russia and skilled artisans from all over the world…. and even a few from the U.S. making this market an incredible experience. FYI: don’t miss the hot chocolate and hot apple cider while you are there and pick up one of this year’s collectible mugs. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
Nope, not an unsed portion of the railings in Montmatre outside of Paris. Read the information on the nest image to find out where this habit is apparently trying to take off. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
This lock was not found on Montmatre’s railings near the Bascillica of Sacre-Couer. It was actually on Michigan Avenue’s bridge rail over the Chicago River in Chicago. I would think it was in error, the previous image shows it seems to be a new trend in Chi-town. Copyright 2019 Pamela Breitberg
