Nuances of a Reservation…

Looking skyward shows off the various richness of the Cabbage Palm. Seminoles used Cabbage Palm for the thatched roofs of their Cheekie huts. The brown bark pulling away from the trunk were used, among other ways, as shin and leg guards from mosquitos and other insects as they worked and hunted. More on Cheekie Huts.
