Waiting for breakfast…

The Bartletts, orginal owners of the Bonnet House in Ft. Lauderdale filled their estate with plants and wildlife from their visits to other tropical environs. There are two remaining Spider Monkeys roaming free on this property. Today, such wild animals are illegal to let run wild in most American cities. These old folk (monkeys) come around every morning for a breakfast that includes fresh nuts;; this one is waiting patiently for service. Copyright 2020 Pamela Breitberg
