Many of us around the world, especially in populated areas, are missing quality time in our natural lands. So this morning I share an image from about six years ago. This White-tail Deer playfully, happily romps through the naturalized Prairie land called Linne Woods, aparrt of the Cook County Forest Preserve. In Chicago, Illinois, apart of Cook County. A “shelter in place” law is in effect during this nasty pandemic time in effort to “flatten the curve” and restrict its spread.

Nature is resilient and we are apart of nature. There are so many stories we are hearing and reading about from historical times of trial; and we are hearing and reading about them because others before us have survived. It is natural, and we are apart of nature, to recover and thrive. “This too shall pass”, as the saying goes and proves to be true over and over again. Happy spring. Copyright 2020 Pamela Breitberg
