Saying bye to 2020…

Sharing the last two painting projects of mine of 2020. Painting has been one of my outlets to help keep me sane during these most unusual and challenging times. Writing ’20 as part of my signature for each piece will cement these memories for years to come I’m certain. This is from a photograph I created a few years ago at Starved Rock State Park in the middle of Illinois. An amazing place which I highly recommend one visit whenever you’re nearby. The immensity of the setting does humble oneself. Copyright 2020 Pamela Breitberg
The inspiration for this painting was from a collection of photographs taken in 2014 during a snowstorm. I thought I’d play awhile in the snows of Lincoln Park, along the Chicago edges of Lake Michigan. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of people having a similar idea. This couple had an obviously grand time building this snowman with the help of their dog who collected the sticks for it’s arms. Today, Chicago is scheduled to have it’s first measurable snow for the season. Yeah! Blessed NEW Year wishes to you and your families. Copyright 2020 Pamela Breitberg
