Easy to go unnoticed is the Peace Garden in Lincoln Park. Those that enter the park via the Buena Park underpass do know of this most tranquil beauty. The day I passed through some volunteers were weeding and cleaning the walkways; so it is maintained with the care and kindness of neighbors. I did choose to not pet one dog whose owner said that he was usually unfriendly; but otherwise the handful of persons and creatures enjoying some quiet moments were most friendly.
