Colorful floor and a few questions…

Buttercup was my first impression of what this ground level flower was at North Carolina Arbortum. Yet the leaves don’t match his bloom. But I did enjoy it’s bit of color. I still have much to learn. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
I am equally unsure of this flower’s identity. The buds resemble a Dandelion weed. But the flower seems like a Lily or Shooting Star. Here’s another yellow delight on the woodland floor. Soon the flowers will fade as the tree canopy opens wide. Any help with identity is appreciated Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg!
Iris can be quite tall or ground level short as shown here. Low levels blooms are no less brilliant. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
The three leafed, native, Purple Trillium is easily unnoticed on the woodland floor. It has been a favorite springtime find for me ever since I began roaming through the forests near my home over thirty years ago. The showier White Trillium seems to get all the attention.
