4th of July natural splendor…

At first the red glow could have been mistaken for a boat’s light or a distant firework Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg.
Fireworks seemed to pale this year compared to the Super Moon, aka Buck Moon, Berry Moon, Feather Moulting Moon, Berry Moon, Month of the Ripe Corn Moon, etc. etc. The July Super Moon has many names according to the Farmer’s Almanac. Each name created based on who and where you are in the country. Spectacular it was this July in Chicago. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
Harbor lights gave the impression that all was quiet in Belmont Harbor. Perhaps all attention was on the rising of the incredible Super Moon. Read what the Farmer’s Almanac says. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
Rising over Chicago’s Navy Pier (in the distance) and Belmont Harbor ( in the foreground) the red reflection of the Super Moon was deep and bright. The brilliant red Super Moon and the blue and white-ish Harbor lights make for a 4th of July tribute. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
