Pathway through the park…

Walking around Lincoln Park’s North Pond last month showed the deep purple colors of autumn Asters. Trees still retained most of their leaves and the grasses had not yet turned golden. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
The Asters were lush and prolific. They always signal the end of the blooming season in Chicago so I cherish them probably more than I might if they bloomed in August. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
