This sprawling shrub was another new species finding for me while in Charleston. Senna pendula has many nicknames but Climbing Cassia fit this large, wandering, shrub. I initially stared at it thinking this was some sort of prolific orchid species but it’s clearly a legume after observing the leaves. Just beautiful and original.
