Introducing summer’s warmth…

Late springtime in this early June is the time in Chicago that Peonys bloom. My neighbor’s would bloom several weeks ahead of mine since hers were in full sun; mine in part sun. My mother warned me that I might be disappointed with Peonys because a spring heavy rain would wash the petals off before their bloom time had finished. I learned that cutting them for bouquets while still tight buds (with colors showing) would provide long floral arrangements indoors. Just look at the countless layers of soft, rich, lushness of the Peony. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
No longer with a home garden, my heart warmed when I came across these gorgeous Peony blooms during a morning walk. Look at nature’s incredible design details. Each petal is unique while they all join to create an incredible prescence. Thank you, nature and God for such gifts. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
