Florida Everglades is a perfect place to open one’s eyes and see the wonders and diversity of this earth and world. Living in urban areas can tend to cause us to stay short focused: on our lives, on our family, on ourselves. Getting out into such natural areas helps us realize how vast our experiences and our insights can be; should be. I couldn’t help but notice the diversity in the building styles and materials. The density of the buildings could cause one to look inward to oneself. Yet I found myself fascinated by these manmade creations’ character and uinqueness. Of course my observations had me ponder the stories that take place behind each window. Though it initially gave me a closed in feeling, the more I sat and viewed the scene it seemed rich with wide vistas, although this time they were more internal spaces than exterior.
