Uplifting perspectives…

Springtime bring ground level blooms that have their shining moments before the dense canopying foilages emerge; sunlight can reach these spring wildlflowers easily. Currently, in Chicago, a Northern Catalpa (Catalpa speciosa) has gone to seed. This huge tree, up to 7 feet tall hosts long, slender pods which are up to 22 inches long. The pods wll not mature until the autumn when they will split and release their formed seeds. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
While looking skyward this particular morning this manmade creature captured my attention. Someone’s kite was tangled in the high branches of the tree. I was nearby a few weeks later and it had not untangled itself. I suppose we are all connected, intertwined with nature.  Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
